1. Scope

These Terms and Conditions (T&C) govern the use of portier.dev, a solution that enables simple and secure remote access. portier.dev is intended for both business and private users.

2. Sanctions for Misuse

Violations of the usage guidelines may result in a warning or immediate suspension of the account. Users are liable for any illegal or reputation‑damaging content they generate. Cases that are relevant under criminal law will be reported to the competent authorities.

3. Technical Usage Limits

To ensure fair and consistent access for all users, portier.dev reserves the right to impose technical usage limits, particularly on the number of requests and the volume of data traffic.

The service automatically monitors individual consumption and may restrict functionality, impose temporary suspensions, or take other measures if the allotted quotas are exceeded.

portier.dev will inform the user when usage limits are imminent or have been reached. There is no entitlement to uninterrupted or unlimited use once the monthly quota has been exhausted.

Misuse Protection Notice:

In the event of unusual usage patterns that indicate abusive use, portier.dev may temporarily or permanently block access and, if necessary, terminate the contract without notice. This applies in particular to violations of the intended purposes or excessive system load.

4. Limitation of Liability

MH.DX UG shall be liable only for intent and gross negligence. In no event shall MH.DX UG be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages—including, but not limited to, loss of profit, loss of data, business interruption or any other commercial damages or losses—arising from or related to the use or inability to use portier.dev, even if MH.DX UG has been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Mandatory statutory liability (in particular under the German Product Liability Act) as well as liability for injury to life, body or health remain unaffected.

5. Data Protection and Processing

portier.dev processes personal data in accordance with its Privacy Policy. User data is used solely to provide the service and for billing purposes. Further details are set out in the Privacy Policy.

6. Contract Term and Termination

Contracts are concluded on a monthly basis and end automatically after the paid period expires. No explicit termination is required. Users can discontinue their subscription at any time by simply not renewing payment.

7. Final Provisions

German law applies. Should any provision of these T&C be invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions shall not be affected. The place of jurisdiction is Stuttgart, Germany.

By using the service, you agree to these T&C. If you do not agree with these conditions, you must not use the service.
