• portier-cli creates a secure tunnel from that local port to Portier's cloud infrastructure
• You (or someone you've shared access with) can then connect to that service through Portier as if it were running locally

1. portier-cli maps localhost:8080 on your server to the cloud
2. You configure port forwarding in your Portier client to access that service
3. Now you can browse to localhost:8080 on your laptop anywhere in the world and reach your home server
